Harnessing the body鈥檚 own immune system to fight cancer, Imugene Limited has raised $8.0M to further its clinical-stage immuno-oncology programs. The company is developing a range of new and novel immunotherapies aimed at activating cancer patients' immune systems to treat and eradicate tumors, potentially achieving a similar or greater effect than synthetically manufactured monoclonal antibody treatments.
Imugene's unique platform technologies include multiple immunotherapy B-cell vaccine candidates and an oncolytic virotherapy (CF33). These treatments are designed to be used in combination with standard of care drugs and emerging immunotherapies for a variety of cancers, supported by a leading team of international cancer experts.
