NYUPatients can wait weeks for sequencing results that decide whether they qualify for targeted cancer therapy. Imagenomix Corp is working to shorten that wait. Its founders, NYU Grossman School of Medicine pathology professors Matija Snuderl, Aristotelis Tsirigos, and Daniel Orringer, built IGX Predict.
The platform uses AI to predict cancer mutations from standard pathology slides, with same-day results and no new tissue sample. The company incorporated in 2022 and closed a $3.2M seed round in May, led by Modi Ventures. We鈥檙e glad to have supported the team from the early days at the Leslie eLab.
