The race for advanced computing power just got another boost, as Iluvatar CoreX 天数智芯 announced it has raised $148.7M in Series c funding. The company develops high-performance computing solutions, including System-on-a-Chip (SoC) chipsets and a proprietary software platform, specifically designed to address the limitations on computing power needed for AI applications.
Founded in December 2015, Iluvatar CoreX was established by a group of semiconductor and software experts from Silicon Valley and China. This team, with over two decades of experience from companies like AMD/ATI, Nvidia, Oracle, and Fujitsu, specializes in GP-GPU solutions that leverage ultra-large-scale parallel computing architecture.
