The burgeoning vertical farming sector saw fresh capital flow this week as iFarm, a full-stack provider of indoor farming solutions, announced it has raised $70K in an Angel funding round. The company offers a comprehensive suite of tools and services, from initial consulting and concept design to installation and ongoing support, for farms spanning 500 to 20,000 square meters.
At its core is the proprietary Growtune farm management software, which leverages over 300 plant growth recipes and AI-driven assessments to maximize yield and significantly reduce water usage by up to 95% compared to traditional farming. iFarm’s technology supports robust growth across a variety of crops, including leafy greens, herbs, and berries.
