Heirloom, a company accelerating nature's own carbon removal processes, has raised $100.0M to advance its direct air capture technology. The startup is developing what it aims to be the world’s most cost-effective method to permanently remove CO2 from the atmosphere, rapidly shrinking the natural ability of limestone to absorb carbon dioxide from years to days.

In 2023, Heirloom established North America's first and only permanent CO2 capture facility. Its customer base already includes major corporations like Microsoft, JP Morgan, McKinsey, Stripe, and Shopify, all seeking to mitigate the worst impacts of climate change.
