The push for green energy in Europe just got a significant boost, with Gen2 Energy securing a $72.8M grant from the EU. The funding will support the company's mission to develop, build, and operate an integrated value chain for green hydrogen, aiming for large-scale production based entirely on renewable energy.
Gen2 Energy plans to distribute this green hydrogen in liquified form, creating a new market channel for unutilized renewable energy and helping European power producers make better use of their clean output. The company emphasizes a minimal environmental footprint, targeting zero-emission production and distribution.
