Fundly.ai has raised $4.0M in seed funding, a bet that India’s fragmented pharma supply chain is ready for more specialized financial tools. Accel, Multiply, and Rajeev Ahuja led the round.
The startup builds credit and payment products aimed squarely at the country’s small and mid-sized pharmacy retailers and distributors, a segment often underserved by traditional lenders. Its pitch is straightforward: tailor financing to the quirks of the healthcare supply chain-think instant capital for stock replenishment or integrated payments for supplier transactions-rather than forcing generic small-business loans into the mix. The company says it has already served more than 4,100 retailers and distributors, disbursing over ₹1,093 crore across 24-plus cities. The fresh capital will help it push deeper into that market, though the founders aren’t saying yet how far the runway extends.
