Electric fleets are getting a smarter way to plan their charging routes, and the startup behind it just banked $4.1M in seed funding. FRYTE Mobility has closed the round with backing from 4impact capital, Rethink Ventures, Revent, F-LOG, and accilium ventures.
The company is building a platform that plugs into existing fleet operations, connecting dispatching systems with the energy sector to handle the messy logistics of electrification. Instead of just tracking vehicles, FRYTE figures out the optimal route and charging stops for each tour, then reserves those spots and negotiates the best price-whether the chargers are public or private. The pitch is straightforward: make electrified fleets reliable and affordable without forcing operators to overhaul their current processes.
