FoodSeed Secures $250K

FoodSeed, a prominent Agrifood Tech accelerator initiative, has secured $250,000 in new funding from investors.

This capital injection marks a significant step for the organization dedicated to fostering innovation within Italy's agricultural and food technology sectors.

The FoodSeed initiative is a joint effort by promoters and investors CDP Venture Capital, through its Accelerators Fund, Fondazione Cariverona, and UniCredit.

It also involves Eatable Adventures, a leading global accelerator specializing in the sector, acting as a co-investor and operational manager.

The accelerator benefits from the support of corporate partners Axxelera, Amadori, Cattolica Assicurazioni (Generali Group), Veronafiere, and the University of Verona as a Scientific Partner.

With an allocation of over 15 million euros for acceleration investments and subsequent growth stages for startups, FoodSeed aims to facilitate the implementation and development of companies operating in Agrifood Tech, cultivating one of Italy's most important innovation ecosystems in sustainable agriculture, Food & Beverage, and the circular economy.

This $250,000 investment will directly support FoodSeed's operational capabilities, program development, and strategic outreach.

The capital is crucial for enhancing its capacity to identify, support, and scale promising Agrifood Tech startups, thereby strengthening its core mission to drive innovation.

The funding positions FoodSeed for continued growth, enabling it to expand its initiatives and deepen its impact on the Italian innovation landscape.
