That approach has struck a chord with a demographic often underserved by traditional banks, letting users manage their own finances and send money to family across Latin America from a chat window they already use daily. The fresh capital from a16z signals confidence in Félix’s model as it scales beyond its initial traction, though the company has not disclosed how it will deploy the funds.
