givestar has raised $12.0M in Series A funding, with Mercia Ventures, Benefact Group and Love Ventures backing the round.
The London-based company builds fundraising tools for a cashless, mobile-first world - products like Split Donate and Tap To Donate, plus what it describes as the world's first social fundraising platform and app. givestar says it has processed more than 1.7 million donations, raising $57 million for charity to date. It's a certified B Corp and is regulated by the FCA and the Fundraising Regulator.
