Fina has raised $1.0M in seed funding, a bet on the Venezuelan startup’s ambition to become the go-to administrative backbone for small businesses in emerging Latin American markets. The round was backed by Squareone Capital, Tomorrow Capital, Norte Ventures, Platanus, and Neer Venture Partners, alongside a roster of regional angel investors including Marcelo Lombardo, Jorge Ulloa, Rodrigo Tognini, Gabriel Monroy, and Adriel Araujo.
The company’s pitch is straightforward: a centralized platform where PYMES can manage inventory, sales, and finances without the usual complexity. Today, that focus is squarely on Venezuela, but the stated horizon is broader-other emerging LATAM economies. The capital gives Fina runway to build out what it calls a future ecosystem of financial products for small entrepreneurs, a long-term play that its backers are clearly willing to seed.
