A company enabling machines to understand, navigate, and map the world's most challenging environments without human intervention, Emesent, has raised $25.0M. The Australian pioneer in Physical AI, founded in 2018 with deep connections to CSIRO, specializes in autonomous robotics and advanced spatial computing.
Its flagship Hovermap product is a mobile scanning unit that uses advanced collision avoidance and autonomous flight to map hazardous and GPS-denied environments. Dubbed the ‘swiss army knife’ of survey mapping, Hovermap is deployed via drone, quadruped robot, vehicle, or backpack, and is currently used by clients across 40 countries in mining, engineering, and public safety.
