An AI platform designed to catch critical heart conditions often missed by traditional diagnostics has just landed a significant capital injection. EchoIQ, which uses artificial intelligence to analyze echocardiographic measurements, has raised $77.0M to advance its clinical decision support tools.
Its FDA-cleared product, EchoSolv™ AS, leverages over 200 million real-world patient measurements to assess the probability of severe aortic stenosis. The platform notably identifies high-risk patients with similar five-year mortality to guideline-defined cases, even when current criteria fall short, demonstrating a 99.2% negative predictive value.
