Cambridge-based technology startup Dogtooth Technologies has secured $17.8M in Series b funding. The company sells smart robots designed for harvesting delicate soft fruits, marking a significant capital infusion for its specialized agricultural automation.
Dogtooth's robots are engineered to pick crops such as strawberries and raspberries. They achieve this through state-of-the-art computer vision and machine learning software, which grants them visual acuity, dexterity, and picking speed comparable with that of human pickers.
