The global ambitions of Digital Baca Nusantara just got a $20.0M boost. The news aggregator, which has amassed over 12 million downloads across Brazil and Indonesia, announced its Series b funding round.
Founded in 2015 by three individuals across China and Indonesia, the company has seen particularly strong traction in Brazil, where it garnered over 6 million downloads in just five months. Digital Baca Nusantara plans to expand its news aggregator to more than 20 countries, aiming to become a truly global platform.
