Dalfilo, a direct-to-consumer brand selling handcrafted Italian home textiles, has raised $2.3M in pre-seed funding.
The company's pitch rests on cutting out the middlemen between Italy's traditional artisan workshops, known as Botteghe, and shoppers around the world who want their goods. Dalfilo says it's built a team of entrepreneurs, software engineers, data scientists, business developers and graphic designers to pull that off.
