Wrestling with a patchwork of spreadsheets and disconnected tools, grassroots football clubs are increasingly turning to Coachbetter, which has just secured $8.2M in seed funding. The platform offers a unified operating system, streamlining everything from player registrations and payments to session planning and coach education, aiming to give club administrators hours back each week and raise coaching standards.
The seed round drew investment from Brighteye Ventures, Swiss Founders Fund, and ZEN 11 Holding GmbH. Notably, football figures Hansi Flick, Paul Lambert, and Julian Draxler also participated. Coachbetter currently serves thousands of clubs across the US, DACH, and Australian markets.
