The Center for Nonviolent Conflict Research (CNCR), an independent non-profit dedicated to promoting nonmilitary strategies for human rights and democratic self-rule, has secured a $652K grant. The funding, provided by the Climate Emergency Fund, will bolster CNCR's work in fostering civilian-based approaches to justice worldwide.
As an educational foundation, CNCR develops and encourages the study and use of these nonviolent methods. Its mission includes educating the global public through various media, influencing policies and media coverage, and providing support for activists and organizers considering civilian-based action.
