Uber is putting its money where its fleet is. The ride-hailing giant has led a $10.0M Series B round into Carrum Mobility Solutions Pvt Ltd, the Indian fleet-tech startup that has become one of its key vehicle suppliers in the country.
Founded in 2024, Carrum buys, deploys, and manages thousands of EV and CNG vehicles for ride-hailing use, positioning itself as a tech-first operator that handles everything from driver availability to vehicle uptime. The company says it is already Uber’s fastest-growing and highest-performing fleet partner in India, a credential that likely made the fundraising pitch a short one. The fresh capital arrives as Carrum looks to scale a model built on squeezing efficiency out of a notoriously fragmented and capital-heavy market.
