Busbud has secured $40.0M in a Series C round, a significant infusion for the Montreal-based travel platform that lets travelers search, compare, and book bus and train tickets across more than 80 countries and 3,900 operators.
The company has built its business around a fragmented market, aggregating long-distance ground travel options that are often hard to find through traditional booking sites. This new capital gives it a deeper war chest to expand its reach, though specifics on how the funds will be deployed were not disclosed.
