SPECT (Sterile Processing Education Charitable Trust) is a Canadian charitable organization dedicated to improving patient safety through better sterile processing practices. We provide education, mentorship, consulting, and technical support to healthcare workers and organizations seeking to strengthen surgical instrument reprocessing systems and reduce the risk of infection. Since 2013, SPECT has trained more than 1,400 healthcare workers across 14 countries and contributed to international research, education, and capacity-building initiatives focused on sterile processing and infection prevention.
