Bongo Secures $4.5M Series

Its platform offers a vast collection of 57,000 titles across five languages, catering to a rapidly expanding mobile data market of 180 million people and working closely with local telecom operators.

Beyond its core streaming services, Bongo also manages a robust network of YouTube channels and influencers.

This network encompasses over 500 channels with more than 83 million subscribers, reaching over 210 million unique viewers monthly across five countries.

Bongo leverages strong relationships with major telecom operators, including Grameenphone, Robi, and Banglalink in Bangladesh, and connects with over 15 operators in seven countries to deliver premium content.

This includes ensuring non-residential Bangladeshi, Nepali, and Sri Lankan communities have access to their favorite entertainment.

Its custom-built proprietary technology, developed after extraordinary demand, supports reliable live and on-demand content delivery from its own data center.

The newly raised capital is intended to fuel Bongo's strategic growth initiatives and enhance its operational capabilities.

The funds will support the expansion of its footprint across the subcontinent, further development of its custom-built video delivery technology, and the continued enrichment of its diverse content library.
