Bisedge has raised $11.2M to electrify the machinery that keeps African and Middle Eastern logistics moving. The company replaces diesel forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment with electric alternatives, offering them as a fully outsourced product-as-a-service rather than a capital purchase.
Finnfund is backing the round. Bisedge's model bundles the machinery, maintenance, fleet telematics, charging infrastructure, and operator teams into long-term off-take agreements, aiming to remove the upfront cost and operational friction that typically slow the shift away from diesel. The company says it employs more than 1,000 people.
