BGauss has raised $11.6M in a Series D round, adding fresh capital to the Indian electric two-wheeler maker’s war chest as it pushes deeper into a crowded market.
The company, part of the RR Global conglomerate, builds scooters like the BG C12i and the BG RUV 350, which it bills as India’s first “RUV” for power and endurance. With a focus on metal-body durability and smart connectivity, BGauss is positioning itself as a premium-but-affordable option for everyday commuters. The funding arrives at a time when India’s EV two-wheeler segment is consolidating, with players jostling for share amid shifting subsidies and consumer demand. Details on who led the round or how the capital will be deployed weren’t disclosed.
