For over two decades, Bevel has crafted high-end eyewear designed to enhance natural beauty with lasting balance and comfort. Now, the USA-based optical company has secured $4.7M in a seed funding round, drawing investment from SHAKTI, Resolute Ventures, and Bessemer Venture Partners.
Founded in 1999 by Richard Mewha and Rick Nelson, Bevel distinguishes itself by manufacturing its minimalist, color-blended frames in artisan factories in Japan. The capital infusion will support its continued growth in both domestic and international markets, where its bold and beautiful designs have forged a unique path as one of the few USA-based high-end optical firms.
