Ampaire has closed a $19.0M Series B round, backed by a roster that includes Alaska Airlines, International Airlines Group, and DiamondStream Partners. The funding arrives as the company pushes its hybrid-electric aircraft toward commercial reality, claiming more than 30,000 miles already logged in flight.
The investor list also features climate-focused funds like Elemental Impact and the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator Impact Fund, alongside Techstars Ventures and a mix of angel groups. Ampaire says its hybrid-electric planes will be the first of their kind to reach the market, though the round’s specific use of proceeds was not disclosed.
