Ambrosia Pharmaceuticals Closes $10

Ambrosia Pharmaceuticals has secured $100.0 million in investment capital from investors.

The Pakistan-based company, established in 2004 and acquired by The Lakhani Group in 2012, specializes in the manufacturing and export of high-quality medicines to Central Asia and Far Eastern countries.

This significant funding round is intended to fuel the company's strategic expansion and enhance its operational capabilities.

Ambrosia Pharmaceuticals operates a manufacturing plant in Rawat – Islamabad, Pakistan, which has recently undergone renovation and upgrades to meet cGMP standards.

The facility currently produces tablets, capsules, syrups/suspensions, and ointments/creams.

With over 150 products registered with the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP), Ambrosia emphasizes a commitment to quality, stating that its Quality Control Department is equipped with advanced technology to ensure product excellence.

The newly secured capital will be directed towards expanding the company's manufacturing plant.

Planned additions include facilities for sachets, new liquid lines, injectables, dry powder suspensions, a dedicated section for steroid ointments/creams, and a specialized Cephalosporins area for capsules, dry suspensions, and dry powder injectables.

This expansion will allow Ambrosia to bring the manufacturing of its registered Cephalosporin products, currently produced under tolling agreements, in-house.

This investment underscores investor confidence in Ambrosia Pharmaceuticals' growth trajectory and its role in the pharmaceutical sector.

The funding is set to significantly enhance the company's production capacity and diversify its product portfolio, positioning Ambrosia for continued growth and a stronger market presence in both its existing export markets and potentially new regions.
