The future of drug development, with its promise of reduced animal testing and more accurate human response predictions, just got a $1.1M boost. AlveoliX, a company focused on advanced in-vitro models, has been awarded a grant to further its proprietary organ-on-chip technologies.
AlveoliX aims to change how drug development research is done by providing in-vitro models that reproduce the in-vivo environment, improving preclinical decision-making and cutting costs. Its solutions are designed to better predict drug responses in humans than standard models.
