The creative workflow is still clogged with hard drives and endless transcoding waits, but Alteon.io is betting it can clear the pipe. The company has raised $2.5M in a pre-seed round backed by Lachy Groom and Together Fund.
Founded by creative professionals, Alteon builds a single platform for uploading, sharing, storing, and collaborating on visual work-an attempt to replace the patchwork of tools and manual handoffs that slow down studios and brands. The startup, a subsidiary of Third Summit, already counts integrations with Apple, Adobe, and IBM among its partnerships, positioning itself as a way to bring enterprise-grade collaboration tools to smaller teams without the usual friction.
