The company is focused on developing breakthrough materials crucial for sectors like the energy transition, next-generation computing, and sustainable mobility, with a mission to enable rare-earth-free solutions and advanced materials. Alqem's scientific foundation is built on over a decade of experience in AI for materials science, combining machine learning, physics-informed modeling, and smart synthesis to translate computational discoveries into real-world solutions. Its co-founder notably contributed to the development of Alexandria, one of the largest foundational databases for crystalline materials.
