Aeron Systems has raised $4.7M in a Series B round, a notable infusion for the Pune-based embedded electronics specialist as it pushes deeper into aerospace and industrial sensing.
The company, founded by two engineers from India’s premier institutes, builds inertial sensors and IoT devices across aerospace, automotive, renewable energy, and agriculture. Its product lineup spans inertial navigation systems, tilt sensors, and digital magnetic compasses, alongside wireless data loggers and weather stations for solar plants and farms. Aeron’s pitch is “affordable excellence”-innovation that doesn’t price out the markets it serves. The fresh capital arrives as the firm looks to scale these two technology segments, though specifics on how the funds will be deployed weren’t disclosed.
