247Solar Closes $25M Series B to Accelerate Renewable Energy Solutions

247Solar, Inc. has successfully raised $25,000,000 in its latest Series B capital raise.

The MIT spin-out is commercializing an innovative solution designed to provide clean, industrial process heat and baseload renewable energy.

This significant capital infusion marks a crucial step for the company as it expands its efforts to reduce customer costs and carbon emissions in key decarbonization markets.

The company's advanced technology targets sectors such as mines, industrial combined heat and power (CHP), data centers, and green hydrogen production.

247Solar finances, owns, builds, and operates its projects through special purpose vehicles (SPVs) to deliver zero/low-carbon heat and electricity around the clock on a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) basis.

Its modular, scalable, and factory-produced solutions are engineered to fulfill the promise of uninterrupted, highly reliable clean energy.

This $25 million funding round underscores investor confidence in 247Solar's proprietary technology and business model.

Prior to this, more than $24 million had been invested in 247Solar technology, including $6 million from the U.S. Department of Energy.

The newly secured funds will be strategically deployed for continued growth initiatives, enabling the company to scale its operations and accelerate project deployment.

With a near-term project pipeline totaling more than $200 million, 247Solar is positioned for substantial expansion.
