Making medication access easier and more affordable for patients across Egypt, Cairo-headquartered digital pharmacy Yodawy has closed a $1.0M Series A funding round. The capital infusion saw participation from investors Algebra Ventures, CVentures, and ASI Ventures.
Since launching in 2018, Yodawy has built a platform that integrates with pharmacies, insurance companies, and healthcare providers to seamlessly manage prescriptions and deliver medications nationwide. The company has already processed over 4 million prescriptions, partnering with more than 15 leading insurance companies and 2,500 pharmacies across the country.
