Wyre, a company building APIs to bridge traditional finance with the crypto world, has secured $5.0M in seed funding. The round saw participation from Ironspring Ventures, WND Ventures, and Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation, alongside individual investors Amar Hanspal, Rajesh Ram, and Joseph Khoury.
The startup’s platform offers a suite of tools, including an instant fiat-to-crypto checkout gateway used by applications like MetaMask and Opera. Its flexible APIs also allow fintech projects to build e-wallets, merchant processing services, and money transfer platforms, handling the complex compliance and regulatory aspects.
