Whatnot has raised $545.0M in a Series G round, a hefty infusion that underscores the livestream shopping platformâs rapid ascent in Western markets. The company, which says it is the largest player in its category across the US, UK, and Europe, is now backed by a deep bench of investors including Iconiq, Lightspeed, Kleiner Perkins, Andreessen Horowitz, and Y Combinator, among others.
The capital arrives as Whatnotâs live sales surpassed $8B in 2025, more than double the prior year, with over 20 million new accounts created in that span. The company has also claimed the top spot among shopping apps in both the US and UK. With live commerce still nascent in the West, this round positions Whatnot to keep scaling an industry itâs effectively defining-though the company notes itâs ânowhere near done.â
