This recent infusion of capital comes as part of our ongoing strategy to foster a dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem, delivering the resources and mentorship essential to take our Open Innovation initiatives to the next level.

For 15 years, Wayra has been at the forefront of investing in over 1,100 startups and has expanded its impressive portfolio to include more than 530 innovative companies, with 190 actively collaborating with Telefónica.

With hubs in Madrid, Barcelona, the United Kingdom, Germany, and across Latin America in Brazil, Argentina, and Colombia, our global presence is a testament to our commitment to connect with emerging talent around the world.

Our network extends further with active teams in nine countries, as well as strategic partnerships in Silicon Valley and Israel—regions renowned for technological breakthroughs.

The freshly raised funds will be allocated to deepen our support for startups with transformative technology and unique ideas, enhancing our ability to provide not only financial backing but also critical mentorship and access to our vast network of over 140 partners and customers.
