Washington Vocational Services Secures $8000 Grant Funding for Empowering Employment Initiatives

We are thrilled to announce that Washington Vocational Services (WVS), a pioneering non-profit staffing agency dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities since 1976, has successfully raised $8,000 in funding.

This funding will significantly contribute towards enhancing our programs and services, ensuring that we continue to meet the unique employment needs of our clients across King, Skagit, Snohomish, Island, and Whatcom counties.

At WVS, our mission revolves around providing our clients with exceptional support in their job searches and ensuring their integration into the community.

With the funds raised, we will further develop our person-centered approach, which includes personalized job search assistance and skill development tailored to individual goals.

Additionally, this funding will bolster our capacity to collaborate with various State agencies, such as the Developmental Disabilities Administration, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, and Division for Services for the Blind, as we also continue to implement innovative transition programs for high school students preparing for employment.

Notably, we proudly differentiate ourselves by offering specialized services to the Deaf community, thanks to our dedicated Deaf Services Team.
