The substantial capital injection will be strategically deployed to further develop and optimize Vulcan’s cutting-edge processes, particularly the renowned in-house VULSORB® technology, which enables efficient extraction of lithium from subsurface brines.

By using geothermal energy to power the conversion processes, Vulcan Energy is setting a new benchmark for sustainable and low-cost production methods designed specifically for European electric vehicle batteries.
