Vinted Secures $340 Million Funding for Expansion and Innovation in Second-Hand Fashion Industry

Vinted, the largest online C2C marketplace dedicated to second-hand fashion in Europe, has just announced a significant funding milestone, raising an impressive €340 million to enhance its operations and expand its mission of making second-hand the first choice globally.

Founded in 2008 in Lithuania and proudly recognized as the country’s first Unicorn in 2019, Vinted connects millions of registered members across over 20 markets in Europe and North America, facilitating the buying and selling of second-hand clothing and lifestyle items.

This latest investment will play a crucial role in bolstering Vinted Go, a new division focused on developing innovative shipping and delivery solutions throughout Europe.

By connecting more than 40 carriers with over 200,000 Pick-Up Drop-Off (PUDO) points, Vinted Go aims to streamline the delivery process for millions of parcels each year, ultimately creating smoother transactions for users.

With its headquarters in Vilnius and additional offices in Amsterdam, Berlin, Hamburg, Kaunas, and Paris, Vinted employs over 2,000 people dedicated to sustainability and community sharing.

Backed by prominent venture capital firms including Accel, Burda Principal Investments, EQT Growth, Insight Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and Sprints Capital, Vinted is poised to accelerate its growth trajectory, innovate in logistics, and reinforce its commitment to environmentally responsible fashion.
