The complex world of data center infrastructure just got a $45.0M boost, as Verge.io, the Ultraconverged Infrastructure (UCI) company, announced new funding. The investment was backed by Kit Colbert.
Verge.io aims to simplify IT and dramatically lower costs by rotating the traditional IT stack - compute, storage, and networking - into its integrated data center operating system, VergeOS. This approach enables greater workload density on existing hardware with high levels of data resiliency, distinguishing it from conventional hyperconverged infrastructure.
