The University of Vienna is proud to announce its latest funding success, having raised €10,000 to support its ongoing commitment to excellence in research, education, and community engagement.

Founded in 1365, the University of Vienna is not only one of Europe’s oldest institutions but also one of its largest, fostering a rich tradition of academic rigor and innovation.

With approximately 9,500 dedicated employees—including 6,600 academic professionals—working across 19 diverse faculties and centers, the institution stands as Austria’s foremost research and education hub.

Currently home to around 94,000 national and international students and offering more than 170 degree programmes, the University ensures that students receive a comprehensive and diverse range of studies that helps prepare them for success in an increasingly competitive global landscape.

The recent funding of €10,000 marks a significant milestone that will be strategically invested in furthering groundbreaking research initiatives and improving access to continuing education.
