TWi Biotechnology has raised $15.0M in a new funding round, adding capital to support its pipeline of therapies for rare dermatologic diseases and central nervous system disorders.
The Taiwan-based clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, listed on the Taipei Exchange as 6610.TWO, is best known for its lead program AC203, which has received U.S. FDA Orphan Drug Designation for rare dermatologic indications. TWi specializes in 505(b)(2) development, a regulatory pathway that leverages existing clinical data to shorten development timelines and reduce risk. Beyond dermatology, the company is also advancing CNS programs targeting major psychiatric conditions, with some overlap in women's health. The fresh capital arrives as TWi continues to push its differentiated formulations toward late-stage clinical milestones.
