A 40-year-old logistics operator is getting a fresh infusion of venture capital. The Triangle Group has raised $15.0M in a seed round backed by DSG Consumer Partners, Golden Gate Ventures, and Genesis Alternative Ventures.
The company, which runs a mix of asset-heavy services-drayage, transloading, warehousing, and storage-has built its business around a fleet of over 250 trucks and chassis, plus proprietary technology for inventory tracking. The seed round marks a notable bet by the investors on a legacy player in a space where newer, tech-first entrants often grab the headlines.
