TransLink Secures $312M Funding to Drive Metro Vancouver’s Sustainable Transport Future

TransLink is excited to announce a major milestone in our journey to improve transportation across Metro Vancouver, as we secure an impressive $312,000,000 in strategic funding.

As Metro Vancouver’s regional transportation authority and one of BC’s Top Employers, TransLink takes pride in efficiently managing an integrated network that includes bus, rail, SeaBus, custom transit services, pedestrian and cycling paths, the Major Road Network, and five bridges.

This significant investment will enable us to further enhance our robust transportation system, which serves over 500,000 people every day, ensuring safe, reliable, and sustainable mobility for communities from every walk of life.

The new funds will help modernize existing infrastructure and support innovative projects that are critical in connecting people and goods across our dynamic region.

With this support, we are poised to accelerate initiatives that contribute to a greener, more sustainable Metro Vancouver while meeting the growing demand for state-of-the-art transit experiences.
