TerraFirma, a startup aiming to redefine how the world moves earth for construction, has secured a $115.0M Series A funding round. Founded by former SpaceX engineers, the company is building technology to automate construction, promising to make projects faster, cheaper, and safer.
The substantial investment saw participation from a notable syndicate of backers, including Kleiner Perkins, Bain Capital Ventures (BCV), Glade Brook Capital Partners LLC, BANNER VC, Saga Ventures, Trust Ventures, Definition, PEAK6, Magnetar, and Ravelin.
