The complex world of mineral exploration and natural resource projects just got a significant technological boost, with Terra AI announcing it has secured $20.0M in Series A funding. The capital will fuel the expansion of its AI platform, which models and optimizes large-scale developments to enable faster designs, reduce capital costs, and improve energy and resource output.
Khosla Ventures and BHP Ventures led the round, joined by individual investors Dan Wright and Paul Balson. Terra AI's platform aims to streamline some of the most intricate and capital-intensive projects in the natural resources sector.
