Tenon Medical has pulled in $3.0M in new funding, a capital infusion that arrives as the company pushes its Catamaran™ SIJ Fusion System, a single-implant surgical option for chronic sacroiliac joint pain that hasn’t responded to conservative care.
The company, led by a team with deep experience bringing surgical devices to market, is betting that its refined approach to SI joint fusion can carve out a niche among patients who’ve exhausted other options. The round’s backers weren’t disclosed, but the fresh cash gives Tenon runway to keep advancing a product it says offers a distinct alternative in a space where innovation has been incremental.
