Tanger Med Port Secures $228.7 Million for Global Expansion

Tanger Med Group has secured $228,744,083 in new investment capital from investors.

This significant funding round will support the company's extensive operations and strategic growth initiatives as a leading developer and operator in the global logistics sector.

Tanger Med Group is a prominent developer and operator of ports, logistics, and industrial platforms.

It manages the Tanger Med port complex, which stands as the leading port in the Mediterranean and Africa, serving as Morocco's primary import/export gateway.

Through "Marsa Maroc," the Group also operates 25 container and bulk terminals across various locations. Its total volume handled amounts to an impressive 187 million tons of cargo and 11.

44 million TEUs, underscoring its pivotal role in international trade.

Beyond its core port operations, the Group develops and manages over 3,000 hectares of diverse economic activity zones.

These zones host more than 1,400 companies from critical sectors such as automotive, aerospace, textile, agribusiness, and logistics, collectively generating a turnover of $17.22 billion in 2024.

The capital infusion will enable Tanger Med Group to further expand these critical infrastructure assets and support its broad ecosystem of businesses.
