Warehouse labor management is getting a faster on-ramp. Takt, which builds a next-generation Labor Management System (LMS) platform, has raised $9.3M in a Series A round backed by Ballast Point Partners.
The pitch is speed and simplicity: unlike traditional LMS platforms that require lengthy implementations and carry hidden costs, Takt says it can get organizations fully operational in four weeks. The platform integrates with existing WMS, robotics, and time-tracking systems-including Manhattan, HighJump, and BlueYonder-and layers in AI-driven coaching to continuously flag optimization opportunities. For retailers, e-commerce operators, and 3PL/4PL firms, the capital will help push a product that turns complex warehouse data into actionable productivity insights, without the usual months-long rollout.
